It was briefly stripped to bare metal in a weight-saving test, though later repainted. The aircraft gained notoriety on 14 June 1985, when it was involved in the hijacking of TWA Flight 847 from Athens to Rome, one of aviation's most infamous hijackings. N64339 continued flying TWA's domestic and international routes for over two decades. It operated TWA's final 727 revenue service on 30 September 2000 before being ferried to Victorville, California, and ultimately scrapped in 2002, closing the career of this historic airframe.

V1:400 Models Series

The new V1:400 Models range 1/400 scale civilian aircraft models.

includes models that are highly detailed, authentically decorated and made of die-cast metal.

Each plane is packaged with details on the information of the true aircraft it represents.

Die-cast metal construction, including the wings

Realistic panel lines, access panels and surface details.

Printed markings and closets that do not fade or peel like stickers.

Extended metal landing gear and rubber tires.

https://passiondiecast.com/products/preorder-twa-trans-world-airlines-boeing-727-200-n64339-v1400-models-1400-400027
