Mexicana Click Boeing 717-200 / N907ME
Gemini 1:400 - GJCBE239
Mexicana Click was a Mexican regional airline and a subsidiary of Mexicana de Aviación that operated domestic routes from 2005 to 2010. It was founded in 2005 under the name Click Mexicana, replacing Aerocaribe. It initially operated Fokker 100 aircraft and later added Boeing 717s to its fleet. Following severe financial difficulties and the bankruptcy of Mexicana de Aviación, the airline suspended all flights on August 28, 2010.
The Boeing 717-200, registered as N907ME (MSN 55171), was delivered new on July 21, 2003, to the U.S. airline Midwest Airlines, under the same registration number. The aircraft was leased by Mexicana Click and entered service in Mexico from October 2009 until the airline ceased operations in August 2010. After a period in storage, it joined the Spanish airline Volotea in May 2012 under the registration EI-EWJ, before ending its service life by being dismantled for spare parts.
