Subaru Impreza S6 WRC Catalunya 2000

When regulations changed in 1997 and the World Rally Car was introduced, Subaru continued its adventure with the Impreza. Based on the legendary 22B, the "WRC" version evolved over the years. The "S6" was used for the 2000 season. It benefited from a few small visual updates, but it was mainly on the mechanical level that the beautiful blue car stood out. Introduced at the Rally of Portugal, it debuted with a victory. At the Rally of Catalonia, 15 days later, Richard Burns also fought for victory. In the end, he failed to beat Colin McRae (Ford) but took a second consecutive podium! The S6 WRC 2000 and Richard Burns finished as vice-world rally champions.
