It's nice

People look at the Maisto brand as a toy kids play with. That may be true with their blue and white package line found at dollar stores. The Maisto Design series is meant for the diecast collector and offers details that are only found on collector cars, such as nice rims with rubber tires and somemoedels have printed sidewalls, diecast metal body, fully detailed interior, opening hood on some models with detailed engine Authentic colours and Tampos. Headlight and Taillight Tampos and marker lights all done. But Maisto suffers from the same plague the rest of the 1/64 producers do. SOme are to scale while most are slightly under or over scale. You don't really notice it though. The Buick Grand National falls into the just a tad under I would say it is about 1/66 scale. Only in the car width length is the same as the Hot Wheels Buick GNX in mainline or Premium. It's great I love my model of the Grand National by Maisto! It is a pleasure to have in my collection.
