Antonov Design Bureau An-225 Mriya Interactive UR-82060 – JC Wings 1:400 – LH4410C

Celebrate an extraordinary chapter in aviation history with this JC Wings 1:400 scale model of the Antonov An-225 Mriya, registration UR-82060, in an Interactive collector edition. The model depicts the legendary six-engine heavy-lift aircraft with its distinctive twin tail, enormous wingspan and front-loading cargo configuration.

The world's unique giant

Designed by the Antonov bureau in the Soviet Union during the 1980s to carry the Buran space shuttle, the An-225 was the world's largest and heaviest aircraft in commercial operation. Its Ukrainian name, “Mriya”, means “Dream”. The aircraft had six jet engines and 32 landing-gear wheels.

Extraordinary cargo missions

Operated by Antonov Airlines, the An-225 flew from its base at Hostomel Airport (GML) near Kyiv on exceptional heavy-cargo missions around the world, transporting oversized loads that few other aircraft could accommodate.

A tragic loss in 2022

The one completed An-225 was destroyed in February 2022 during fighting at Hostomel Airport at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Antonov has explored the possibility of rebuilding the aircraft using an unfinished second airframe, although any future reconstruction remains uncertain.
