Inter-Canadien Fokker F100 C-FICO – JC Wings 1:200 – LH2ICN211

This JC Wings 1:200 collectible reproduces the Inter-Canadien Fokker F100 C-FICO in the airline's distinctive original “Chevron” livery, with its white fuselage, dark-blue underside, red stripe and geometric tail design. A memorable chapter in Canadian aviation history.

A North American launch customer

Delivered new in January 1989, C-FICO, fleet number 501, belonged to the first group of Fokker 100 aircraft introduced to North America by Inter-Canadien. The modern twinjet was used on busy routes in Eastern Canada, connecting Montréal with cities such as Toronto (YYZ), Ottawa (YOW) and Halifax (YHZ).

The distinctive Chevron livery

Its original “Chevron” design combined dynamic red and blue geometric elements across the fuselage and tail. This striking Canadian livery is faithfully represented in this JC Wings collector model.

A later career in Europe

Following changes to Inter-Canadien and the temporary Intair branding in late 1989, the aircraft continued its career in Europe. It served with operators including TAT, Deutsche BA, Air UK, KLM UK and KLM Cityhopper, later carrying registration PH-OFK. It was retired in 2009 and subsequently dismantled.

Historical airport setting

The Passion Diecast promotional illustration depicts Montréal–Dorval International Airport (YUL) in a 1990s-inspired setting. The airport artwork is illustrative rather than an archival photograph.
