LOT's transition to Western aircraft

Delivered new in December 1992, SP-LKC was among the early American-built Boeing 737 Classic aircraft introduced by LOT following the end of the communist era in Poland. These modern twinjets helped replace older Soviet-designed aircraft and supported the airline's transition to a Western fleet.

European operations and later career

Based in Warsaw, the aircraft served LOT's short- and medium-haul European network for nearly two decades, connecting Poland with major European cities. It left LOT's fleet in June 2011 and later operated with Ukraine International Airlines under registration UR-GAZ.
