The Boeing Company is an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and missiles worldwide. The company also provides leasing and product support services.

Boeing 727-200 N1787B was the temporary factory registration for a 727-276 Advanced, construction number 20553. It first flew on 18 November 1973 in Boeing test colors before entering airline service with Trans-Australia Airlines as VH-TBH "Freeman Cobb." As a stretched, higher-performance 727-200 variant, the aircraft served throughout the 1970s and 1980s on domestic Australian routes. After TAA/Australian Airlines retired the type, the jet was sold and ferried to the United States in 1991. Withdrawn from use soon after, it was parted out and scrapped in Mississippi during the early 1990s, ending the career of this former Boeing test aircraft.
