Carnival Air Lines Boeing 727-200 / N8861E / V1:400 Models / 1:400 / 400023

Carnival Air Lines Incorporated was a charter and scheduled airline division of the Carnival Corporation & plc that started in 1988 after Carnival Cruise Lines purchased Pacific Interstate Airlines. It was headquartered in Dania Beach, Florida.

Boeing 727-200 N8861E began service with Eastern Air Lines in May 1973 before brief leasing to Avianca in 1988. It joined Carnival Air Lines in June 1989, becoming part of the carrier's colorful "Fun Jets" fleet, operating charter and scheduled services primarily out of Florida. The aircraft featured Carnival's distinctive bright livery and contributed to the airline's niche vacation market. After Carnival ceased operations in 1998, N8861E was transferred to Pan Am Clipper Connection (as N361PA). Over its career, the aircraft exemplified the versatility of the 727-200, transitioning seamlessly between multiple operators and markets.
