Air France, founded on August 30, 1933, is France’s national pride in the skies. The Concorde F-BVTC (MSN 209), nicknamed for its legendary role in supersonic travel, made aviation history. Designed by Aérospatiale and the British Aircraft Corporation, it made its maiden flight in 1976 and carried passengers at Mach 2, covering distances in record time. Its delta wing and Olympus afterburning engines made it a symbol of technology and design. On June 27, 2003, F-BVTC made the final flight of a Concorde in Air France colors, connecting Paris to Toulouse-Blagnac before its permanent retirement. Today, it is on display at the Aeroscopia Museum, still sporting its “Fox-Tango” livery and reminding everyone of the golden age of supersonic aviation.
