It was converted by defense contractor L3Harris into a highly secure “flying embassy,” equipped with state-of-the-art encrypted communications systems and defensive countermeasures. The aircraft underwent rigorous forensic security audits, including the dismantling of sections of wiring to ensure the complete absence of eavesdropping devices. It features the new exterior color scheme commissioned under the Trump administration, marking a visual departure from the classic blue-and-white design inherited from the Kennedy years.
