Nissan and Italdesign have created a new prototype vehicle - the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign - in their first-ever collaboration.
Based on a 2018 production Nissan GT-R NISMO model, this unique vehicle commemorates 50 years of the GT-R and Italdesign.
Drawing on Nissan's GT3 racing experience, and a signature italdesign design the NISMO organization has upgraded the hand-assembled 3.8-liter VR38DETT V6 engine to produce an estimated 720 hp and 780 Nm of torque. A revised suspension was developed, with the BILSTEIN DampTronic® continuously adjustable damping system. For braking, Brembo six-piston front and four-piston brakes with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted on 21 x 10 inch front and 21 x 10.5 inch rear custom sizes, sized 255/35 R21 front and 285/30 R21 rear. Combined with a body signed italdesign coated with Liquid Kinetic paint with distinctive Energetic Sigma Gold anniversary accents. With all these elements it will be a hell of a car. Its acquisition cost will be around 1.1 Million$.
