In 1969, Ford participated in national series SCCA rally races with five 1969 Mustang Mach 1s. Winning the manufacturer's class A championship with team 4, Nathan "Available" Jones, and Russell "Aligator" Brown. After winning the championship, the car was sold to the driver, Nathan "Available" Jones, who displayed it in a museum until his death, after which the car was sold to a private collection. Complete documentation was included with this sale. The original construction sheet, invoice, titles, deeds of sale and the Marti report, as well as letters from Ford and SCCA on the rally teams, magazine articles, press releases, SCCA driver cards, logbooks and even Nathan Jones' willingness to show this car. Logbooks document all the kilometres travelled by the car. The entries include all service, fuel and oil from the beginning. This Cobra Jet Mach 1 is a true survivor and a piece of motor racing history. It remains in its original, unrestored condition,
