SHELBY COBRA 427 MKII – METALLIC RED – 1965
American racing driver Carroll Shelby is known for his strokes of genius, whether in motor racing (Le Mans 1959 or 1966) or for his prepared cars. The story begins with a crazy idea: grafting an American V8 onto a small English car. Shelby partners with an English manufacturer, AC. The Cobra was created in 1962. Several versions followed one another, including the famous 427 which had a 7-liter “Big Block” 427 engine developing 420hp! Only 350 official examples exist in the world, so you are surely more likely to come across a copy than a real AC Cobra 427!
