M4 Sherman Firefly British Army 8th Armored Bgd 13/18th Hussars, Normandy France, D-Day, June 6th 1944
The Sherman Firefly was a British variant of the American Sherman tank of the Second World War, equipped with the powerful British 17-pound antitank gun as its main weapon. Originally designed as a palliative until the future British tank models were put into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most widely used tank with the 17-pound tank during the Second World War. It quickly became highly appreciated as the only British tank capable of defeating the Panther and Tiger tanks it encountered in Normandy at a standard combat range.
The "Forces of Valor" range includes affordable, ready-to-use and die-cast military vehicle models.
