Delta Air Lines Boeing 727-200 Adv "Widget Livery with Winglets" / N510DA

B-Models 200 / 1:200 / B-722-DL-510P

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is one of the leading U.S. airlines and a founding member of the SkyTeam global alliance. Its headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia. With more than 5,400 daily flights serving over 325 destinations in 52 countries, it ranks among the world’s largest airlines. Delta is known for its premium positioning, its focus on service quality, and its excellent on-time performance. It operates several major hubs, including Atlanta, New York (JFK and LaGuardia), Los Angeles, and Seattle. Founded in 1924 as an agricultural spraying company, the airline gradually shifted its focus to passenger transport and experienced significant expansion, particularly through mergers with Western Airlines in 1987 and Northwest Airlines in 2008.

The Boeing 727-232(Adv) with registration number N510DA (serial number 21312) is a medium-range trijet delivered to Delta Air Lines on March 31, 1978. Assigned fleet number 510, it operated short- and medium-haul routes on Delta’s domestic network. It is worth noting that in the 1990s, Delta tested winglets on two of its Boeing 727-200s to improve fuel efficiency, although this modification was not implemented across the entire fleet. Like all Boeing 727s in the fleet, it was withdrawn from commercial service by Delta following fleet modernization efforts (Delta officially ceased operating the 727s in 2003). The aircraft was subsequently acquired by Diversified Aero Services.

The B-Models 200 series includes collector's models designed for collectors by collectors.

  • a Die-cast metal construction, including the wings

  • Realistic panel lines, access panels and surface details.

  •  Printed markings and closets that do not fade or peel like stickers.

  • Extended metal landing gear and rubber tires.

  • Display stand to display the aircraft "in flight".
