British Airways Aérospatiale-British Aerospace Concorde " Landor" / G-BOAA

Gemini 1:400 - GJBAW2390

British Airways was founded in 1974 and was formed through the merger of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA). Privatized in 1987, it is now one of the most profitable international airlines. It is also one of the founding members of the Oneworld alliance.

The Concorde G-BOAA (serial number 206) is an iconic supersonic airliner operated by British Airways, famous for having inaugurated the airline’s first commercial flight on January 21, 1976. It was used for codeshare flights with Braniff Airways in the United States between 1979 and 1980. On January 21, 1976, it made British Airways’ inaugural flight from London to Bahrain. In April 1988, it became the first Concorde to reach the 12,000-hour flight milestone during a major overhaul. On August 12, 2000, it operated its final flight between New York (JFK) and London (LHR). Unlike other aircraft in the fleet, it did not undergo the post-Gonesse accident modifications due to pending maintenance and therefore did not return to service. In 2005, it was dismantled and transported by road and ship to its current exhibition site, the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, Scotland.

Gemini Jets 400 Series includes models that are highly detailed, authentically decorated and made of die-cast metal.

Each plane is packaged with details on the information of the true aircraft it represents.

"Gemini 400" offers:

  • a Die-cast metal construction, including the wings

  • Realistic panel lines, access panels and surface details.

  •  Printed markings and closets that do not fade or peel like stickers.

  • Extended metal landing gear and rubber tires.
