Turkish Airlines is Turkey’s national airline, founded in 1933, which serves more than 300 destinations worldwide from its hub in Istanbul. It has one of the youngest and largest fleets in the world, including many wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777.

The Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER, registered as TC-JJN, is a twin-engine, wide-body long-haul aircraft. It entered service in 2016 at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, and the aircraft has operated regular long-haul flights across the airline’s global network. The “Batman v Superman” livery was the result of a marketing partnership between Turkish Airlines and Warner Bros. for the film’s release. The aircraft made a notable appearance as part of a global promotional campaign that included commercials featuring actors Ben Affleck (Batman) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor). Turkish Airlines also became the official sponsor of the film’s premieres in the United States and the United Kingdom.
