Messerschmitt Bf 109 Adolf Galland 

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a single-seat fighter aircraft that was the backbone of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. It was considered to be the most advanced structural and aerodynamic design of the time, with a low wing, slats, closed cockpit and retractable landing gear. It is the most successful fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 33,984 produced between 1936 and April 1945.
German Ace Adolf Galland flew Bf 109 during the campaign against France in 1940 and was commander of the JG62 fighter squadron during the Battle of Britain, at the end of which he destroyed 58 enemy aircraft. In November 1941, he was promoted to Commander Luftwaffe's and, one year later, he was promoted to Major-General and became the youngest general in the German armed forces at the age of 30.
