It has been almost a century since Chevrolet produced its very first pickup truck in 1918. Since then, Chevrolet has become a familiar name, with the Silverado being one of the best-selling trucks in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But what led to the creation of the beloved. Before the arrival of the Silverado, there was the Chevrolet C/K series of trucks that came into being in 1960, breaking all sales records between 1964 and 1966, Chevrolet C/K trucks paved the way for light and heavy trucks in the future. Although the C/K truck range is no longer in production today, these trucks have led to the development of today's pickup trucks that were launched in 1999. The Chevrolet C/K series consisted of two-wheel drive trucks, labelled with a "C", and four-wheel drive trucks, designated by the letter "K". So there were two parts of the C/K series, but there were also several other models available. The half-tonne, three-quarter-tonne and one-tonne versions, these trucks were identified as 10, 20 and 30, respectively.
