The RMS Queen Elizabeth was a British passenger liner and the flagship of the Cunard Line. Launched in 1938, she was the largest passenger liner ever built at the time and served as a troopship during World War II. The Queen Elizabeth, along with her sister ship the Queen Mary, dominated transatlantic travel in the post-war years. She continued to serve as a popular cruise ship until she was retired in 1968.
