The M3 was armed with a combination of machine guns, typically including the .50 caliber M2 Browning, making it effective for reconnaissance, convoy escort, and personnel transport. Its armor protected against small arms fire, while a winch and run-flat tires enhanced its mobility over rough terrain. Despite being replaced by more advanced vehicles, the M3 saw action in North Africa, Europe, and the Pacific.
