The F/A-18C Hornet is a multi-role fighter jet developed by McDonnell Douglas and Northrup in the 1970s. With a top speed of Mach 1.8, it was the first modern jet designed for ground and air missions. It is a superb warplane whose main missions are fleet air defence, fighter escort, interception, combat air patrol, suppression of enemy air defence, air interdiction and close air support, among others. This diecast metal aircraft is available in 1:150 scale with plastic support and the model is approximately 4 3/4 inches long with a wingspan of 3 1/8 inches.
