Royal Jordanian Airlines, founded in 1963 as Alia by King Hussein, is Jordan’s flagship airline. Based at Queen Alia International Airport, it connects the Middle East to more than 45 destinations on four continents. The first Arab airline to join the Oneworld alliance in 2007, Royal Jordanian is known for its modern fleet consisting primarily of Airbus (A320, A321, A330), Boeing 787, and Embraer aircraft, as well as for its historic dark gray and gold livery, adorned with the royal crown.

Royal Jordanian’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, registered as JY-BAG, is a long-haul airliner configured to seat 270 passengers (24 in Business Class and 246 in Economy Class). Named Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein (Amir Ali), it entered service in November 2016. The aircraft features a “We Fly Together Jordan’s Nashama” sticker. It was among the first of the airline’s aircraft to receive the company’s new, modernized livery, replacing the traditional white design with a deep black fuselage accented with gold and red.
